  My whole life a narrative that was drilled into me was that in order to succeed in this world, one needs to specialize. From teachers at school to consistent exhortations from my father to become an expert at a specific field, this formed an undeniable truth in my mind. Yet this has been the cause of much internal strife, as I felt it ran counter to one of my greatest strengths.

  I’ve spent the past year actively curating my twitter feed, something I’d never bothered to put much effort into before. It began with following a few prominent names in the tech industry and through them I discovered a veritable goldmine of voices. Some of the most impactful things I’ve consumed since I’ve discovered this way and I plan to write about the best of them in due time. The book How To Get Rich by Felix Dennis will be the first however, and deservedly so.

• Naval Booklist

  I found a post on twitter showing a list of books that Naval Ravikant recommended. As a fan of his thinking and someone that’s constantly looking for something new to read, this seemed like quite a find. My plan is to make steady progress through this list, and I’ll update the title of the book with a link to my thoughts about it once I’ve read it. I was hoping I would have read some of this already, making my job a little easier, but aside from the two books by Douglas Adams, I hadn’t. I look forward to the process and I have no doubt it will be an interesting journey.
